Beto O’Rourke is known for his unwavering dedication to Texas Democrats and progressive values. “I am honored to receive Beto O’Rourke’s endorsement,” said Rep. Julie Johnson. “His dedication to the people of Texas and his advocacy for pushing past small politics in favor of big, bold visions aligns perfectly with our campaign’s values. We are eager to harness this support and work together again — to get out the vote — and to deliver results for North Texans in Washington,” she added.
In his statement, O’Rourke said, “It would be pretty hard to find a fiercer champion for the people that she wants to serve and represent in Congress. Whether it’s defending workers’ rights, or staving off attacks on the LGTBQ community, or just trying to make sure that everyone can afford to see a doctor, fill a prescription, and be healthy and well enough to lead their lives. Julie has been on the frontlines of the fight as a state representative and a citizen advocate.”
